The AC-DP passive distribution station ensures that a serial chain of OSSD safety sensors requires less wiring and that the informative signals (door open/closed) are branched off in parallel. This solution also saves space in the cabinet, as fewer terminals will be needed there. Two obvious cost benefits.
The distribution station uses industry-standard M12 connectors. LEDs next to the connectors issue visual status signals for each participant.
Four Euchner OSSD safety sensors can be connected to each AC-DP distributor. If there are more than 4 participants, multiple distributors can be interconnected. A bridge connector must be installed on unused connectors.
The compact and strong casing offers a protection level of IP67.
